This is a 16 size Illinois Model #7, Grade 605, with 17 jewels that has a double roller and is adjusted to 4 positions. It is stem wind and pendant set and is housed in a really sharp triple-hinged 20-year gold-filled case made by the Crescent Watch Case Company. The watch has a nice double-sunk dial and the special plum colored Illinois hands that were found on many of Illinois'high grade railroad watches. The nicest part about this watch, at least in my opinion, is the movement, which has stunning two-tone damaskeening as well as gold screws, gold jewel settings and a gold reulator. The serial number is 2438378, which dates it to about1913.
